a bit of history

This was our first flat around. We haggled the price down, collected furniture from the street and built up. The summer before we moved in we went rounf Los Angeles collecting picture frames and wll sconces, we put together a scrap book for inspirattion and planned everthing from the bad painting job in the kitchen to the feel of the bedroom. You stripped and varnished this chest of drawers yourself. We were punch proud with it.
We slept all day and stayed up all night for months, exploring the world at night. It was our first retreat. Our first home.
The pictures on the fridge were all family and frieds. The front of the fridge was covered in magnets and we ate takeaway pizza all the time.
